Built on experience.

The PowerPRO3 builds upon the extensive experience gained from the market-leading and award winning PowerPRO2700. Designed for demanding environments, the PowerPRO3 is equally at home in the desert, the tropics, or the arctic, and everywhere else in-between.

Since its launch in 2014, PowerPRO2700's have been deployed world-wide to support numerous critical applications including: data centers, semiconductor fabs, hospitals, industrial and pharma plants, and petrochemical facilities. The PowerPRO3 development takes this performance to the next level, delivering best-in-class reliability with the latest digital UPS control and monitoring systems.

Increased Power Output

The PowerPRO3 has a new Kinetic Energy Module with 25% more energy. This allows the PowerPRO3 to support loads up to 3000 kVA. For large installations this means fewer systems resulting in lower CAPEX and OPEX.

Improved Kinetic Energy Storage

Leveraging nearly a decade of new innovations and improvements, the PowerPRO3 uses the new BCD version of the Kinetic Energy Module. With a higher internal rotation speed, higher mass, new bearings, and optimized lubrication, the PowerPRO3 is better in all aspects.

Highest System Efficiency

Designed for high power as well as efficiency. With the latest generationof bearings, alternators and the new Kinetic Energy Module, market leading efficiencies of up to 97% are achieved.

Sustainable Fuel Certified

The PowerPRO3 is fully-tested and compatible with HVO fuel, a sustainable alternative to Diesel fuel. Using HVO has no negative performance impact and reduces the CO² footprint of your facility dramatically.

[6]

More power from the same footprint

The PowerPRO3 combines power filtration, no-break UPS and long term power generation within a single compact framework. At 200 kVA/m² the space-saving design of the PowerPRO3 frees-up floor area for other operations or revenue generating activities.

Multiple engine start reduction systems

Integrated smart software features significantly reduce engine starts. By cleverly monitoring frequency, voltage and load levels, the PowerPRO3 reduces engine usage, fuel consumption, emissions, maintenance, your CO² footprint, and ultimately your OPEX.

The PowerPRO3 is the latest generation of HITEC’s proven Dynamic UPS technology. It builds on the trusted PowerPRO platform and delivers more uninterruptible power, higher efficiency, improved sustainability, and greater performance, all within the same footprint.

The PowerPRO3 provides more No‑break power than the previous generation, without increasing system size or complexity. This means customers get more usable capacity, better efficiency, and improved value from the same reliable architecture.

Higher No‑break capacity means your critical loads are protected more robustly and for longer during power disturbances. It also gives you more headroom for growth and improves system resilience against short‑term grid events.

No. The PowerPRO3 delivers higher power density within the same footprint. There is no need for additional floor space, major layout changes, or extra infrastructure to benefit from the increased performance.

The improved capacity and efficiency delivers:

Over the lifetime of the system, this contributes to a lower total cost of ownership.

Engine Start Delay means the system can ride through short power disturbances without starting the engine. This results in:

Especially valuable in regions with unstable grids or frequent short interruptions.

Yes. The PowerPRO3 is designed to support increasing power demands. The higher capacity gives customers additional margin for future growth without needing immediate system upgrades.

The PowerPRO3 is ideal for mission‑critical environments such as:

Anywhere downtime is not an option.

The PowerPRO3 supports operation with up to 100% renewable HVO fuel and reduces engine runtime thanks to fewer starts. This helps customers lower CO₂ emissions without compromising reliability.

The PowerPRO3 combines:

All in a single, integrated system trusted worldwide for critical power protection.

The PowerPRO3 is the next commercial evolution of the PowerPRO2700 platform, delivering a higher No‑break capacity within the same footprint. It builds on a proven installed base of 100’s of PowerPRO2700 systems worldwide, while unlocking additional performance made possible by advances in engine and flywheel technology.

The renaming reflects both a product line refresh and a step‑change in performance, rather than a minor upgrade. “PowerPRO3” positions the product clearly within the PowerPRO range and avoids confusion by signalling a new commercial generation of the platform.

The PowerPRO3 delivers up to 3000 kVA of true No‑break power (at 60 Hz) within the same physical footprint as the PowerPRO2700. This is enabled by a re‑engineered Kinetic Energy Module (KEM) that stores up to 30% more kinetic energy.

Higher RPM – up to 4200 RPM
Higher mass + 500kg

Rather than altering the external dimensions, HITEC engineers optimized:

This approach preserves form & fit compatibility while safely increasing stored energy through validated parts and endurance testing.

No. One of the core benefits of the PowerPRO3 is higher power density more kVA per square meter. Customers gain increased No‑break capacity without additional space, civil works, or infrastructure changes.

Higher No‑break capacity aligned with modern engines results in:

Together, these factors improve both CAPEX efficiency and long‑term operating costs.

With more kinetic energy available, the PowerPRO3 can ride through longer disturbances before starting the engine. This leads to:

Particularly valuable in grids with frequent short disturbances.

Yes. The upgrade strategy deliberately retained the same KEM external dimensions, enabling compatibility paths for existing customers where applicable and simplifying spares, servicing, and lifecycle support.

The PowerPRO3 is especially attractive for:

Anywhere customers need maximum No‑break performance within constrained space.

All HITEC Dynamic UPS systems, including the PowerPRO3, are certified for operation with up to 100% HVO fuel, enabling immediate CO₂ reduction without hardware modifications. Combined with reduced engine starts, this supports lower‑carbon power strategies.
